A little about us and the technology we
use at Infinity Health & Body.
Regenerative therapies have a success rate of anywhere from 75% to over 90%.
Although it's called "Shockwave" Therapy, there is little discomfort (if any) during the procedure itself.
Deep Tissue Laser Therapy is used by many professional athletic teams across the company to help athletes recover from injuries quicker.
Our approach to pain doesn’t involve medications or surgery. We use non-invasive technology to reduce pain and inflammation to get patients on their way to doing more of what they love, without pain. Depending on the client and their needs, we use a combination of technologies including EMTT (Extracorporeal Magnetotransduction Therapy), Medical Shockwave Therapy, and Deep Tissue Laser Therapy.
During the treatment course of EMTT, painful areas of the body are targeted by the electromagnetic therapy machine, generating high-energy magnetic pulses. EMTT can cause biological effects, including the therapeutically effective magnet field, the normalization of the membrane potential, and the mechanical activation of the ionic channels. This innovative and pain-free technology helps patients get better faster without surgery, unnecessary risk, or downtime. Each treatment takes about 15 minutes.
ESWT is an advanced treatment that uses acoustic shockwaves to break up soft tissue calcifications, enhance collagen synthesis, release growth factors, and stimulate your body’s healing process to improve pain and help you stay active. This therapy enhances blood circulation and accelerates the healing of stubborn musculoskeletal conditions in bones, tendons, ligaments, and muscle.
Depending on the injury, patients can avoid invasive treatments such as steroid injections or surgery. ESWT requires no incisions or downtime. Most patients see long-term results after only three treatments, which take about 15 minutes each.
Laser therapy uses a process called photobiomodulation. Photons enter the tissue and interact with the cytochrome c complex within mitochondria. This interaction triggers a biological cascade of events that leads to an increase in cellular metabolism and a decrease in both pain and inflammation. Unlike medications, laser therapy reduces pain without undesirable side effects.
While the number of treatments required may vary depending on the acuity of the condition, many patients experience lasting relief after only a couple of treatments. Treatments are quick, usually, 5-10 minutes depending on the size, depth, and acuteness of the condition being treated.
One common question related to laser therapy is, “What does it feel like?” Most report little to no sensation or a gentle, soothing warmth.
